South AmericaAngel, Krista, Samuel (2 anos) e Joel (6 meses) vivem em Quito, Equador, e atualmente servem como coordenadores das Equipes de Missões Nazarenas para a região da América do Sul. Angel atua como diretor do Nazarene International Language Institute (NILI). Krista se mudou com sua família para a Venezuela quando tinha um ano de idade para servir no campo missionário. Ela viveu na Venezuela por 15 anos; depois, mudou-se para o Equador, onde viveu por quatro anos. Krista se mudou para os EUA para estudar Sociologia na Mid-America Nazarene University. Para Krista, as missões estão no seu coração, pois ela cresceu em uma família missionária. Angel nasceu na Guatemala e sentiu seu chamado para missões desde cedo. Ele trabalhou em diferentes departamentos no Centro Global de Ministérios por mais de dez anos. Antes de ir para o campo, Angel trabalhou como tradutor em Comunicações Globais, serviu como intérprete na Igreja do Nazareno para conferências de Teologia Global, Assembleias Gerais, reuniões da Junta Geral e várias viagens missionárias de curto prazo. Os Sigui são apaixonados por alcançar os perdidos e cooperar em levar a igreja aonde ela ainda não está. Eles também amam conectar pessoas à missão de Deus por meio de viagens missionárias de curto prazo ou aprendizado de idiomas.

South AmericaAlessandro nasceu em Jandaia do Sul, Paraná (27/03/1976), se mudou para Campinas, SP com 4 anos. Conheceu a Jesus na Igreja do Nazareno Central de Campinas com 19 anos, onde foi chamado ao ministério pastoral e estudou no STNB. Também é Bacharel em Ciências Econômicas. Possui um mestrado em ministérios. Cristiane nasceu em Campinas, SP (11/05/1976). Conheceu a Jesus com 6 anos em um acampamento infantil. Filha de pastor. Foi chamada ao ministério com 16 anos. Estudou na FTN, Faculdade Teológica Nazarena, também é Licenciada em Música y Licenciada em Pedagogia, um mestrado em intervenção psicológica no desenvolvimento e na educação e um mestrado em ministérios. Se conheceram na Igreja do Nazareno Central de Campinas, onde se casaram (15/06/2001). Os dois são presbíteros da Igreja do Nazareno e foram comissionados como missionários globais em fevereiro de 2017. Plantaram uma Igreja em Sousas onde foram pastores por 12 anos. Tiveram duas filhas: Raquel (15/09/2003) e Sarah (04/04/2009). Em 2013 se mudaram para o Chile, como missionários, onde serviram por sete anos. Neste tempo no Chile, Deus fez maravilhas. Duas igrejas foram reabertas. Receberam ajuda de 14 equipes de trabalho e testemunho. Trabalharam com MNC, Ministérios Nazarenos de Compaixão, com resposta a desastres, que são muito recorrentes no Chile. E com patrocínio de crianças para filhos de pastores e crianças da CDI Mirada de Amor. Alessandro também serviu como CIM de Chile, Coordenador Regional de MNI para SAM e Superintendente do Distrito Chile Los Lagos. Cristiane foi Coordenadora Nacional de Patrocínio de Crianças e MAM - Ministério a Mulher. Em janeiro de 2020 se mudaram para a Argentina, onde atualmente servem. Alessandro foi CEA, coordenador de estratégia de área para o Cono Sul. Cristiane trabalhou juntamente com seu esposo na secretaria jurisdicional do Cono Sul, e como professora no Seminário do Chile e no Seminário Teológico Nazareno do Cono Sul. Desde outubro de 2023 Alessandro é Diretor Regional da América do Sul. Cristiane é coordenadora regional de CDC, Cuidando daqueles que cuidam, um ministerio que ajuda de maneira integral às famílias pastorais. David and Kristen have been married since 2021 and share a deep love for ministry and for seeing God’s Kingdom grow across cultures. Kristen is an ordained elder and brings experience in pastoral ministry and discipleship. David has worked faithfully in both professional and church settings, where he has been a key volunteer and leader, serving wherever there is a need. As they continue serving Jesus and raising their boys, they are so grateful for their church family that surrounds them with prayer and support. South AmericaDavid and Ruth Huanca serve as global missionaries of the Church of the Nazarene and currently live in Chile in the South America region. David serves through his profession as an IT (Information Technology) Coordinator on the regional communications team. There, he contributes through software development and the creation of innovative applications in service of the mission. Ruth currently serves as the Regional Coordinator for Nazarene Missions International. Her role is to promote missionary engagement in local churches. In this role, she also encourages the care of and connection with missionaries and creates opportunities for new generations to hear God’s call to missions. David and Ruth are also part of the national ministries team in Chile. David is a computer engineer who has dedicated more than 20 years to youth ministry through Nazarene Youth International. He has also served in the area of Communications at both the national and regional levels. In 2016, he received the Timothy Award in recognition of his service to younger generations. Ruth is a licensed occupational therapist who, from an early age, became involved in discipleship and ministries such as Nazarene Youth International and Nazarene Missions International. She has served as National Coordinator for NMI and for Missionary Mobilization. Both have studied at the Nazarene Bible Seminary, and Ruth has completed courses at the Missionary Formation Center (CFM). Together, they have served in Peru since 2018 and in Chile since 2022. They are the parents of two wonderful boys, Lucas and Mateo, who accompany them in this missionary journey. Their ministry reflects a sustained commitment to leadership development, discipleship, and the mobilization of the church for missions. They share a deep conviction: to serve God wherever He sends them, using their gifts and professions for the advancement of the gospel. As a family, they remain deeply committed to discipling new generations, walking alongside young people as they discover their calling to serve in God’s Kingdom through their gifts, professions, and abilities.

Son ministros licenciados y tienen tres hijos: Marcos, estudiante de Matemáticas en la Escuela de Ciencias e Ingeniería , Daniela, estudiante de Marketing y Ana Paula está cursando la secundaria. Actualmente viven en Quito, Ecuador, donde sirven: Dennys como Tesorero del Área Andino Norte (Ecuador, Colombia y Venezuela) y Vanessa como administradora del campus desde donde opera la sede del Área Andino Norte. Vanessa inició a los 6 años su camino de fe junto a su mamá y hermanos en la Iglesia del Nazareno. Gracias al contacto con grupos de Trabajo & Testimonio surgió un deseo ardiente de involucrarse activamente en el servicio en su iglesia local. Actualmente sirve como coordinadora nacional de MNI. Dennys tuvo un encuentro con Jesús a los 16 años, siendo su padre una influencia clave para tomar esta decisión. Inmediatamente después de entregar su vida a Cristo, se involucró en el servicio dentro de la JNI. Además de servir con la juventud, también sirvió en su iglesia local en el ministerio de alabanza como baterista y líder de alabanza aproximadamente 14 años. Más adelante, participó en la MNI a nivel distrital. Ambos economistas de profesión con más de 20 años de experiencia: Dennys en banca, finanzas, desarrollo de procesos y Vanessa en administración, recursos humanos, desarrollo comunitario y patrocinio de niños. Su camino en la Iglesia del Nazareno les ha permitido prepararse como bachilleres superiores en Teología y están próximos a graduarse como licenciados en Teología (noviembre 2025). Dennys y Vanesa contrajeron matrimonio en agosto de 2004. Juntos sirvieron como pastores de jóvenes por más de 12 años, además de ser pastores asociados en su iglesia local. En 2022 participaron de Explore donde se afirmó su llamado misionero. En oración, como familia han confiado en las palabras que se encuentran en Jeremías 29:11 y Éxodo 33:15. Estos pasajes son el fundamento del paso de obediencia a servir a Dios con sus dones, corazones, y profesiones para la expansión del reino de Dios. Danny y Vanessa aman movilizar a la iglesia hacia la misión. South AmericaDiana González, originally from El Salvador, serves as a missionary in Quito, Ecuador. Since her time as a university student, God has called her to cross-cultural missions, and through short-term mission trips to Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, God has confirmed this calling. Her prayer is to walk in obedience, responding to God's call on her life. In 2019, she was assigned as a missionary in Guatemala through Project Genesis, a church planting project in urban contexts in the Mesoamerica Region. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, she saw God's faithfulness through transformed lives as the restrictions of the pandemic were used as opportunities to share the gospel and show the compassion of Jesus to people in need. In 2024, God called her to serve in the Ecuadorian Amazon in the spiritual development of the various Compassion ministries in the Austro District. She worked in eight different communities, serving approximately 1,400 children and their families. She also participated in the Survival Ministry, which provides comprehensive care to 45 pregnant women or women who have recently given birth. Diana served in evangelism, discipleship, and spiritual accompaniment in the district, mobilizing the existing church to make Jesus known in their communities. To this day, she continues to coordinate the Decentralized Theological Studies of the Austro District, but from Quito, since in June 2025 God called her to work at the South American Nazarene Theological Seminary. Diana knows that this opportunity to serve in theological education in the Northern Andean Area is a blessing from God, but also an answered prayer, as she prayed for this door to open. She knows that preparation is important, and this year she graduated with a Master's degree in Religious Studies from SENDAS (Costa Rica). Now Diana serves in the administrative and teaching area of STNS (Ecuador), helping with communication between the Seminary and students, leaders, and pastors from Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela. As Diana responds in obedience to God, she invites you to be part of her ministry by praying for: Wisdom and grace for the development of her ministry at STNS. Holistic health. South AmericaElizabeth is Bolivian and an elder in the Church of the Nazarene. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from the Nazarene Theological Seminary of the Southern Cone, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Public Management from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, with a specialization in International Relations and Diplomacy. Since the age of 15, she has served in various areas of the church, holding roles in NYI, NDI, and NMI at the local, district, and national levels. She has also served as a faculty member at the Bolivian Nazarene Seminary (SENABOL), National Coordinator of Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) Bolivia, and Secretary of the National Pensions Board. From February 2020 to January 2024, she pastored a church in the La Paz District of Bolivia, with the mission of reopening a congregation that had been closed. It was not an easy task, but throughout the process she witnessed God’s provision and guidance. Together with a ministry team, they carried out the work to which God had called them; today the church is growing and has a new facility. Having felt a call to missions since her youth, she now serves in Chile as Assistant to the District Superintendent of the Chile Los Lagos District and supports the strengthening of ministry at the Victoria Church of the Nazarene. South AmericaElizabeth Medeiros, na Igreja do Nazareno conhecida carinhosamente por Bethinha Medeiros, nasceu em Recife/Pernambuco, nordeste do Brasil. Ela conheceu o Senhor Jesus Cristo no início da adolescência, aos 11 anos, e sempre foi muito dedicada às atividades na igreja. Ela aprendeu desde cedo que deveria servir ao Senhor com ordem, decência e com o coração alegre. Bethinha se formou em Pedagogia e sempre foi muito dedicada à carreira profissional. Lecionando em todos os níveis da Educação Básica, desde a Educação Infantil até o Ensino Superior. Em 2005, ela descobriu a Igreja do Nazareno em sua cidade e começou a se reconectar com seu chamado missionário, que estava adormecido. Mas, mais do que tudo, ela descobriu que servir ao Senhor em tempo integral era o que faltava em sua vida, e começou a dizer ao Senhor que o desejo de seu coração era devolver a Ele tudo o que Ele havia permitido que ela aprendesse na área de ensino e aprendizagem. Para Bethinha, o discipulado e o cuidado são o seu ministério. Ela sempre esteve disponível para servir e durante muitos anos esteve envolvida no ministério de ensino e discipulado: Ela foi Presidente do NDI na sua igreja local, Vice-Presidente do NDI no Distrito. Também desenvolveu trabalhos de formação e educação para Professores EBD e Professores Discipulados no Brasil. Participa do grupo de trabalho que desenvolve currículos para escolas bíblicas e colabora com o estabelecimento e consolidação de igrejas. Ordenada Presbítera, está servindo no Seminário Bíblico Nazareno, em Santiago no Chile, como Assistente Acadêmica, onde pode contribuir com a Educação Teológica: a confirmação de que Deus ouviu a sua oração de devolver ao Reino de Deus tudo que Ele a proporcionou aprender na sua vida secular. Busca sempre estar atualizada e amante da construção do conhecimento, atualmente está cursando o segundo mestrado no Seminário Teológico Nazareno do Brasil, de Liderança Pastoral na Perspectiva Wesleyana. América do Sul Esdras and Scarlet Jimenez

South AmericaEsdras was born in Chiapas, Mexico. He is the second son of a pastoral family. Growing up in his local church he has served as youth leader and as a Sunday school teacher for youth and children. He has also served as a leader in teenage ministry for the South District in Mexico. When he was 12 years old, he met the Lord as his personal Savior. In 2002, while attending a retreat in the city of Palenque, Chiapas, he felt God’s call for him to become a missionary. Since 2005, he has served as a missionary in the Mesoamerican Region. He has served in the Communication Department, Theological Education, and Finances, Since 2014 he has been serving in the South America Region as a National Ministries Coordinator. He also has been a teacher at Quito Nazarene Seminary for the South America Region. He has a bachelor’s degree in information, and has a Master’s degree in Religion Science, with a focus on the Mission of the Church. Scarlet was born in Managua, Nicaragua. She too is the second child of her family. She graduated from the National University in Managua, Nicaragua. There she obtained her bachelor’ degree in business administration. Scarlet also attended to The Nazarene Seminary of America (SENDAS), in Costa Rica; where she obtained a Master’s degree in Religion Science, with a focus on the Mission of the Church. She has served as a missionary since 2004. She served as treasurer to the South MAC Area formerly, she has served as a General Administrator for the Nazarene Theological Seminary at Guatemala and for the Virtual Seminary (which is an alliance of SENDAS to offer online theological studies for Latin America) in Costa Rica. She is now working with accounting and finance for the South American Nazarene Theological Seminary, in the South America Region. Esdras and Scarlet have been married since February 2007. They have two children, Joshua Alexander, who was born in Mexico and Sara Michelle, who was born in Costa Rica. They are a multi-culture family who have a genuine desire to serve the Lord with all their heart, strength, soul, and mind in order to help strengthen and build the body of Christ.

América do Sul Evelio and Gladis Vasquez

South AmericaGladis and Evelio, Elders of the Church of the Nazarene. They were born in the north of Peru, Gladis was born on the coast, and Evelio in the Andes of Cajamarca. The two knew the Lord as children in their respective places. Evelio was called to the ministry during a Vacation Bible School and at age 17 he went to Seminary to prepare for pastoral ministry. While Evelio was studying at the Seminary, in a district assembly he met Gladis; They became friends, then fell in love, and were married on January 15, 1983. They have been blessed with three children, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson: Jocelyn, Gabriela, Randy, Winnie, and Franco. Gladis and Evelio, since they met the Lord, understood that God had called them to his holy ministry for life, "a career with no return", so they have strived to prepare in the best way. After studying the baccalaureate and bachelor's degree at the Nazarene Theological Seminary of Peru, they have followed postgraduate studies: Evelio studied for a master's degree in SENDAS; later, he earned a Doctorate of Ministry from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City. Gladis after obtaining her bachelor's degree is now studying for a Master's in Pastoral Leadership at the Nazarene Theological Seminary of Peru. As a couple, they have served in various roles in the Church of the Nazarene, they have pastored 5 churches in a period of 26 years, they have served 5 years in the Peru Norte district superintendence, one year in charge of the National Coordination of ETED Peru; and 9 years as rector of the Nazarene Theological Seminary of Peru. During the seminary service, Gladis taught Bible and Pastoral courses. Currently, Dr. Evelio, together with his wife, serves as FSC, in the Central Andean Field - Bolivia and Peru, of the SAM region. The main projects at the Area level are: planting new churches, developing leaders in coordination with the seminars, and bringing the districts to all the districts from Phase I and Phase II to Phase III. The Vasquez couple considers that there is no greater privilege than serving the Lord here on earth; Therefore, the support of the church, through its prayer and in any other way, is very valuable.

South AmericaWe are Pastors Herman and Diana Alcantara. Together as a family, we have served full time in pastoral ministry in the Church of the Nazarene in Peru since 1997. At the same time we supported theological education in the country at the district and national level, among other ministries. Following the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the support of our leaders in the country, in January 2008, we were sent as national missionaries to southern Peru to plant the Church of the Nazarene in the city of Puno - Border with Bolivia. Aos 15 anos, respondeu ao chamado de Deus para as missões. Iniciou sua formação ministerial em um instituto no Peru, com foco no trabalho missionário com crianças, adolescentes e jovens. Posteriormente, participou da plantação de igrejas do Nazareno em diferentes países da América do Sul, incluindo Peru, Equador, Chile e Argentina, onde também atuou como pastor associado. Durante quase três anos, serviu no Chile como Assistente da Coordenação de Ministérios Holísticos. É membro da Igreja do Nazareno em Bragado, pertencente ao Distrito Buenos Aires Oeste (BAO). Atualmente, está em designação global como missionário da Igreja do Nazareno, servindo como Coordenador de Finanças do Campo Cone Sul (Argentina, Chile, Uruguai e Paraguai), apoiando a missão por meio de uma administração estratégica e do fortalecimento dos processos financeiros do campo. Heyner é Bacharel em Teologia pelo Seminário Teológico Nazareno do Cone Sul, Coach Ontológico, possui um Diploma em Assistência de Gerência pela CCL e é Presbítero na Igreja do Nazareno.

Cilene é pastora e também completou sua formação em Teologia pelo Seminário Teológico Nazareno em Pernambuco sendo ordenada Presbítera em 2020. Serviu como líder do Ministério de Compaixão Local, e no Brasil, como Coordenadora Distrital e Nacional do Programa de Apadrinhamento dos Ministérios de Compaixão. South AmericaJorge serves as president of the Nazarene Theological Seminary of the Southern Cone of South America located in Pilar, Argentina. Irma serves as assistant to the president and secretary of academic files. Jorge is also the regional education coordinator. They began missionary service in August 1999 at the seminary in Pilar. Jorge was the academic dean and assistant to the president. Both Jorge and Irma are from Peru. A year after they were married, they moved to Costa Rica to study at SENDAS (Seminario Nazareno de las Américas). This was their first cross-cultural experience. While there, Jorge and Irma surrendered their lives completely to the Lord. This surrender has carried them on to serve in four Latin American countries. Jorge graduated with a B.A. in theology from SENDAS in 1993. He received an additional diploma in theology from SENDAS in 1995 and one in education from UNED (Universidad Estatal a Distancia) in Costa Rica in 1996. He received his M.A. in religion from SENDAS in 1997. Jorge has studied postgraduate courses in Educational Management and Cognitive Psychology with an emphasis on Learning in an extension program in Buenos Aires with the University of Madrid, Spain. He graduated from Nazarene Theological Seminary with a D. Min. degree in 2004. Irma graduated from SENDAS in 1995 with a B.A. in pastoral theology. She was the executive secretary for Brown Academy in Lima, Peru, in 1989. Since her graduation, she has taken continuing education courses for her ministry development. After their studies in Costa Rica, they moved to Ecuador where Jorge taught theology at the Seminario Teológico Nazareno Sudamericano in Quito. Together, Jorge and Irma were administrative coordinators for the seminary conference center and deans of students. They were ordained in Ecuador; Jorge as elder and Irma as deacon. Both have served as pastors in Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Argentina. Currently, Irma is very active in women's discipleship ministry, and Jorge is deeply involved in preaching, theological teaching at various institutions in Latin America, strategic development of new academic programs to serve the church, and training new leaders. Jorge has also served as Educational Editor for the ordination course modules for ministry in South America and currently writes for Holiness Today and other Nazarene publications. The Julcas have two children: His eldest daughter, Daniela, and her husband, Jonathan, are Nazarene pastors and have two beautiful children: John Mateo and Emma Isabella. His youngest daughter, Camila, is studying at university and serves faithfully in her local church.

South AmericaJuan and Carolina met at the Modelia Church of the Nazarene, Bogotá, in January 2002, and were married on April 30, 2005. The Lord has blessed them with three children: Andrés Felipe, Sarah Karolina, and Juan Diego. Rev. Juan Soto was ordained an elder in the Church of the Nazarene in March 2007 and has served full-time in the ministry since July 2004. His pastoral service began as associate pastor at the Modelia Church of the Nazarene, where he worked with youth, couples, and in theological formation. In the academic field, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Theology (2006) and a Ministerial Degree in Theology from the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Quito (2016). More recently, he completed a Master's degree in Theology from the South American Theological Seminary in Quito (2023). Together with his wife, Carolina, they completed a Diploma in Family and Marriage Ministry at the Wesleyan Seminary in Bogotá (2008–2010). In 2013, they received a call to plant a new church, and in April 2014, they founded the Church of the Nazarene "By His Grace" in Bogotá, North Central District. In 2019, Rev. Juan Soto was appointed Superintendent of the North Central District in Colombia. That same year, he and Carolina began serving in the South American Region (SAM) as Marriage Ministry Coordinators (2019–2020). In October 2020, Rev. Soto was appointed Comprehensive Coordinator of Ministries for the Church of the Nazarene in Colombia, a position he held until December 2023. He has also actively contributed to theological education in Colombia, South America, and the United States, serving on the faculty of the Southern Cone Theological Seminary and the South American Theological Seminary of Quito. Rev. Carolina Soto was ordained an elder in February 2020. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology from the South American Theological Seminary of Quito (2018) and a degree in Child and Family Education from the Pontifical Javeriana University (2006). Her ministry has focused on pastoral service and the formation of marriages and families. Since September 1, 2023, Juan and Carolina Soto have served as Global Missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene. On December 1, 2023, Rev. Juan Soto was appointed Area Strategic Coordinator (FSC) for the Andean North Area, which encompasses Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela. They are Elders in the Church of the Nazarene and graduates of the Nazarene Theological Seminary of the Southern Cone. They have two children: Lihuel and Josías. Juan is a radio broadcaster and soccer coach; he has a passion for relational evangelism and pastoral care. Cintia is a social psychologist who enjoys facilitating mental health processes, as well as supporting learning and discipleship. The Lord called them to be part of His mission in other nations from a young age. Together, they began their journey of training and preparation in 2013, gaining diverse cross-cultural experiences and sharing the message of salvation with people of various cultures and religious backgrounds. They have previously served as missionaries in Paraguay, in the city of Fernando de la Mora. Their ministry there included church planting and development, directing a Child Development Center (CDI), teaching theology, and coordinating national missionary mobilization efforts. Now, they will be focusing on district-level development in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia. They will be supporting leadership training initiatives and the expansion of the Kingdom in surrounding cities, establishing new preaching points in areas where no churches currently exist. He attended university and obtained the title of Systems Analyst in 1999, was ordained as an Elder in February 2020, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Seminario Sudamericano in Quito, Ecuador in 2021. Since mid-2015 he has taken the role as Senior Pastor of Iglesia del Nazareno de San Diego de los Altos. He served as Sunday School Superintendent for his district for 4 years. In addition, together with his wife, from 2017 until the beginning of 2022, he led the Marriage Ministry at the national level for the Church of the Nazarene. He was Superintendent of the Venezuela Primero District for two years. Since November 2020, he has collaborated as part of the regional ministry of communications and has served as the Coordinator of Regional Communications since October 2022. Leda was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She went to university where she obtained the title of Preschool Teacher. From the age of 15 she was a children’s Sunday School teacher. She led the ministry of DNI, children’s sponsorship, and literature at the national level from 2017 to 2022. She was ordained as an Elder in February 2020 and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Theology from the Seminario Sudamericano in Quito, Ecuador in 2021. Since November 2022, she has led the Ministry of Literature for the SAM Region. Leda and Lember have been married since December 2003. They have 3 wonderful children: Alessandro, who was born in Venezuela in 2006, is passionate about technology and programming. Alejandro, born in Venezuela in 2007, loves technology and sports. Currently, he regularly plays volleyball and tennis. Valeria, born in Venezuela in 2012, is a very empathetic girl. She likes to play tennis and is a great lover of animals. Since January 2023 they have served as missionaries in Colombia.

Antes do casamento, Lucas atuou como voluntário nas áreas de finanças e gestão de campus em no Equador e na Argentina. Carol apoiou iniciativas regionais, como o Vivendo a Grande Comissão, e traduziu documentos. Em setembro de 2018, o casal se casou e se mudou para o Peru, onde serviram como missionários por três anos antes de retornar à Argentina, onde atualmente servem no Centro Regional de Ministérios. Os Neves têm uma grande paixão por mentorear a próxima geração. Ambos possuem diplomas em Teologia pelos Seminários Nazarenos. Lucas foi presidente de JNI em sua igreja local e continua a mentorear jovens através da formação espiritual e do discipulado. Carol possui um mestrado em Liderança Organizacional pela Trevecca Nazarene University e está ansiosa para usar sua experiência para treinar secretários de distrito e superintendentes em diversos assuntos administrativos. South AmericaEspañol: Con 17 años de matrimonio Luis y Jenny han desarrollado sus ministerios en diferentes ciudades de Ecuador junto a sus hijos Anaís (17) y Emanuel (16), quiénes desde muy pequeños también han estado inmersos en el servicio. Como pequeños misioneros dentro de su propio país, Anaís y Emanuel con solo 4 y 5 años de edad disfrutaban viajar cada semana para enseñar a otros niños las coreografías infantiles, ayudar a su mamá en la escuela dominical y participar en teatros, mientras su papá predicaba. Ya en la adolescencia, se convirtieron en maestros de niños, se involucraron como líderes en la JNI, en la danza, teatros y hasta en la alabanza. Siguiendo el ejemplo de sus padres, Anaís, ha sido vocalista y corista en su iglesia local por algunos años. Emanuel entona teclado, bajo y guitarra pero desde que era tan solo un bebé, su instrumento preferido ha sido la batería llegando incluso a enseñar a otros jóvenes en la iglesia a tocar estos instrumentos musicales. Luis y Jenny estuvieron sirviendo en el JNI nacional, además, han ministrado en Guayaquil, Ventanas, Machala y finalmente plantaron la primera Iglesia del Nazareno en Manta. Después de 8 años en Manta, aceptaron el llamado misionero y recibieron su asignación como misioneros globales, asumiendo el desafío de llevar avivamiento a Uruguay como CIM (Coordinador integral de ministerios). Luis es músico y Jenny canta, pero además han estado involucrados en el trabajo con niños, jóvenes y adultos, también, en el ministerio de matimonios. Ellos son apasionados y han visto milagros, en sus propias vidas y en otros. Además han sido testigos de muchas vidas transformadas, lo que los impulsa a hacer discípulos hasta lo último de la tierra. After 8 years in Manta, they accepted the missionary call and received their assignment as global missionaries, taking on the challenge of bringing revival to Uruguay as CIM (Holistic Ministry Coordinator). Luis is a musician and Jenny sings, but they have also been involved in working with children, youth, and adults, as well as in marriage ministry. They are passionate and have seen miracles, in their own lives and in others. They have also witnessed many transformed lives, which drives them to make disciples to the ends of the earth. Manuel and Lidia Lima

South AmericaRev. Manuel (60) and Rev. Lídia (61) Lima have served in the District of Amazonia Brazil for over 10 years as missionaries. Before this journey, they served as pastors in São Paulo and Manaus for 29 years. Manuel and Lídia both received their Bachelors in Theology from the Integrated Theological Faculty. They also both attended Nazarene Theological Seminary in Brazil and received their diplomas in 1983. Additionally, Lídia studied lato sensu at the Theological Faculty of Brazil in Teaching in Philosophy and Contemporary Theology. Manuel was ordained in 1986 and Lídia was ordained in 2004. They were commissioned as global missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene in 2009. In 2015, Manuel was appointed national director of the subregion Brazil, and moved back to São Paulo. They have 5 children: Raquel (41), Lucas (38), Pedro (27), Mateus (26) and Caio (25). They also have 3 granddaughters: Giovanna, Letícia and Luísa.

Mario began his service as a pastor, and He is an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene. Mario and Jessi have decided to dedicate their lives to missions and have been part of several ministries, including Work and Witness, Partnerships, Administration and Evangelism ministries. They have served as missionaries in Haiti, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Cuba. Now God has called them to serve in South America Region to start a new missionary project to help others to discover their calls. Mario and Jessi are confident in God’s call on their lives, and their passion has moved them to offer their life in love to God to serve as channels of grace for those who need the Lord. South AmericaAndréa Hopster was born into a military family, moving all over the United States until her father accepted a call into ministry. Through these experiences, she grew to have a passion for learning about new cultures. God began to stir within her a call to missions, which led her toMount Vernon Nazarene University. While at MVNU, Andréa studied abroad in both Campinas, Brazil and San Jose, Costa Rica. Andréa graduated with a degree in Intercultural Studies and Spanish and continued her educational journey to Biola University (La Mirada, CA) where she earned her M.A. in Linguistics & Biblical Languages. She also happened to meet a guy working at a coffee shop! Matthew Hopster was born in the desert (Las Vegas) and felt a sense of God calling him to deepen his faith at a young age. While attending a Christ in Youth Camp, he prayed to receive salvation. Matt enjoys connecting with people, and God is using that passion in his call and ministry. He graduated from Hope International University with a degree in Youth and Family Ministries. When he met the girl at the coffee shop, he heard about the Church of the Nazarene. One thing led to another and he is now an ordained pastor! God continues to use Andréa and Matt’s passion for culture and people, allowing for amazing opportunities to lead people to Christ and encourage discipleship and holiness. Andréa has served in both local and district NMI and Matt served as a youth pastor and in district NYI on the Anaheim District in Southern California. The Hopsters served the Church of the Nazarene as sponsored missionaries on the North Andean Field in Quito, Ecuador from January 2021 to May 2025! Matt & Andréa served in several ministries on the field including NILI (Nazarene International Language Institute,) Nazarene Missions Teams, and ministering in their local church in Quito. And after many years of prayer, their son, Phineas (September 2024), joined their family and is a further testimony of God’s provision! In November 2025, the Hopsters began a new adventure serving with the South America Regional team in Pilar, Argentina. Matt is working with the Regional Jurisdictional Secretary supporting pastors and district superintendents with vital reporting that helps the region support local districts and churches in kingdom advancing ministries. Andréa, likewise, is working in an administrative role, supporting the regional finance team ensuring that ministries throughout the region continue to advance through God’s provision. Aos nove anos de idade, tomou a decisão de entregar sua vida à Cristo e ainda na infância se tornou membro da igreja do Nazareno. Na igreja local conheceu sobre missões e desde então se interessou pelo tema. Com a convicção que Deus começou a preparar-la quando era criança, enquanto ouvia testemunhos e histórias missionárias, se envolveu em muitos ministérios na igreja local, como no ministério de artes e discipulado infantil, grupos de evangelismo, participou várias viagens missionárias de curto prazo, serviu nos ministérios de dança e teatro, ministrou aulas na Escola Dominical, fez parte do conselho missionário, e esteve na liderança do NazaKids por 10 anos. Em 2013, entendeu que o Senhor a chamava para servi-Lo em missões, mas, antes de servir em um contexto transcultural, se graduou em Licenciatura em Dança pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, fez o Treinamento Informal para o Ministério Infantil pela Aliança Pró-Evangelização das Crianças (APEC), se formou no Treinamento Integral para o Campo pelo Centro Evangélico de Missões e, concluiu o curso em Aconselhamento Pastoral Familiar pela EIRENE do Brasil. Esteve por 2 meses no Kenya/África, servindo entre crianças e adolescentes, em parceria com a sua igreja local, o Centro Evangélico de Missões e a Igreja do Nazareno no Kenya. Hoje é missionária em envio patrocinado, em 2020 chegou a Quito/Equador e começou a servir nos Ministérios de Compaixão Nazarenos (MNC) para a região América do Sul. E desde 2023 está servindo como Coordenadora Regional de Desenvolvimento Integral Infantil, um programa de MNC. Ela entende que estar em missão é entregar ao Senhor, tudo aquilo que Ele lhe deu. “Porque dele, e por ele, e para ele são todas as coisas; glória, pois, a ele eternamente. Amém!” (Rm.11.36)

Oscar Benítez (13 de agosto) é pastor, músico e comunicador, apaixonado pelas novas gerações. Ele tem estado profundamente envolvido no ministério pastoral juvenil na Argentina e no Brasil. Atualmente coordena o ministério de Comunicações para os 10 países da região, unindo sua criatividade e experiência pastoral para fortalecer a Igreja por meio de histórias, recursos e projetos audiovisuais a serviço da missão. Rebeca Mendes Xaxá (22 de julho) é filha de missionários; cresceu vendo e vivendo a missão em países como Argentina, Paraguai e Brasil, especialmente no nordeste brasileiro. Essa experiência marcou profundamente seu chamado missionário. Atualmente serve na equipe regional de Comunicações, nas áreas de notícias, tradução e interpretação, além de apoiar o ministério regional de Literatura, ajudando a Igreja a ter acesso a recursos bíblicos e formativos. Como família, são metade brasileira e metade argentina: Oscar e Eva nasceram na Argentina, enquanto Rebeca e Olívia nasceram no Brasil. Essa identidade compartilhada enriquece seu chamado missionário e os torna uma família multicultural a serviço do Reino. South America“Viver as coisas as coisas da terra é muito bom, mas viver as coisas do céu é muito melhor.” Foi com essa frase que nosso primogênito Gabriel com 4 anos na época nos fez chorar em um domingo chegando em casa após um Culto. Embora já estivéssemos no ministério pastoral em tempo integral e cumprindo o nosso chamado, naquele dia através da boca de uma criança, Deus nos fez refletir sobre dependência, propósito e destino. Nunca nos esquecemos desse dia. No meio disso tudo, já são quase 10 anos que estamos como família pastoral voltados a servir ao Senhor através da Igreja e realmente não tem coisa melhor do que viver as “coisas do céu” mesmo que momentaneamente estejamos aqui nessa terra. Não nos vemos longe disso. É nessa visão que nos sentimos direcionados pelo Senhor para um novo desafio, entendendo e discernindo que essa é a vontade de Deus para nossas vidas nos movemos por fé de que Deus deu a visão e certamente dará a provisão necessária. Em nossa missão, servimos à Igreja através do Ministério de Comunicação, na estruturação e projeção dessa Igreja moderna que parte dos púlpitos, mas alcança pessoas em qualquer parte do mundo. Atuamos também no desenvolvimento de ferramentas para que os ministérios nacionais tenham maior abrangência em todo o território nacional, atingindo cada igreja local do nosso país. Entendemos que nosso papel é despertar pessoas e criar possibilidades para que o nome do Senhor seja glorificado através da expansão da Igreja do Nazareno no Brasil e da mensagem de Santidade que ela carrega. South AmericaCarlos and Robin Radi (Radziszewski) are global missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene, serving in Argentina. The Radis have been Nazarene missionaries since 1999. Carlos grew up as a Nazarene pastor's son in Argentina. He shares, “My call is to minister, preach and serve so that I can efficiently raise up leaders for the next generation.” Robin's parents are Nazarene missionaries who served in Peru, Costa Rica, and Lebanon. Carlos and Robin were sent out as hurricane relief Work & Witness coordinators in the Dominican Republic. Upon completing the reconstruction, they served in Guatemala as missions coordinators for the Mexico and Central American Region. The Radi family ministers at the Southern Cone Field Office in Argentina. Carlos and Robin are the National Ministry Coordinators and the Work & Witness Coordinators for Argentina. They also pastor a church. Carlos is currently serving as District Superintendent for both the Native People's District in the northern province of Argentina, as well as the Buenos Aires West district. Robin says, “We feel that in developing better ministries at a local, district and national level in South America, we are truly answering our call to “Go and make Disciples.” The Radis have three daughters. Nicol is majoring in Theology and Intercultural Studies at Trevecca Nazarene University. Natali is majoring in Intercultural Studies and Business at Trevecca Nazarene University. They began their ministry in the Mesoamerica Region in 2004, and in 2024 moved to Pilar, Argentina. Their son, Elijah, was 7 months old upon their arrival to the mission field and is currently studying Business Administration at Olivet Nazarene University. Their daughter, Sydney, was born in Guatemala and is currently studying Political Science at Point Loma Nazarene University. Scott is assisting the Regional Director of the South America Region with strategic projects, working with district leadership and regional ministries to become even more effective in their developing and sending of new Nazarene ministers and missionaries. Emily is the Regional Personnel Coordinator and works with regional leadership in identifying where new missionary work is needed. South AmericaRev. Sixto Gaona and Katie Anderson de Gaona serve with their two daughters, Adyson and Joy. Sixto graduated from the Nazarene Bible Institute in New Horizon and later completed his bachelor’s degree in theology and the classes for his license of Theology at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Peru, with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology. Sixto then pastored several years before serving as a missionary in Southern Peru in church planting efforts. He also graduated from the Superior Public Institute “CAVM” with a title in English Education. Katie graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Family and Consumer Sciences. She then worked for WVU Extension Service, and later as the office administrator for her home church. Katie then served as a missionary in Peru in church planting efforts. Sixto and Katie met while serving as missionaries, and when they finished, they married in Peru and pastored on the Peru Nor Oriente District. The Gaonas are currently assigned as missionaries of the Church of the Nazarene in Bolivia with the goal of planting a new church and coordinating Nazarene Missions Teams.

The ministry has a network of Christian professionals in different areas of expertise who decided to serve with the ministry.
